HOW TO MAKE DIY GEOMETRIC BOWLS?

LET’S GET STARTED WITH THIS EASY TUTORIAL TO MAKE YOUR OWN DIY GEOMETRIC BOWLS.

HERE’S WHAT YOU WILL NEED :

  1. Scrapbook paper
  2. Scissors
  3. Glue
  4. Folding template

FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN BELOW TO MAKE THIS DIY GEOMETRIC BOWLS.

PROCEDURE :

Step 1: Cut two pieces of scrapbook paper into 12 x 12 down to the standard 8 and 1/2 x 11 paper size. One piece of scrapbook paper will be the outside of the bowl and one piece will be the inside.

Step 2 : Take folding template and open it. Load both pieces of paper into printer so that it will print on the back side of the paper. Print the template onto the back of both pieces of scrapbook paper.

Step 3 : Cut around the outside of the hexagon and along the highlighted lines.

Step 4 : Begin folding along each highlighted lines. The interior piece should be folded towards the patterned side of the paper and the exterior piece should be folded away from the patterned side.

Step 5 : Take glue and spread it across of all triangles. Then simply slide the triangle next to it over until the two triangles overlap completely.

Step 6 : Repeat the step 5 with all of the numbered triangles for the interior piece. Leave two sections unglued on the exterior piece so you will have space to insert the interior piece.

Step 7 : Spread glue all over on the white side of the paper on the interior piece, then fit it into the exterior piece, pressing firmly and smoothing everything out. Glue the remaining exterior flaps closed.

Step 8 : Trim any left over edges along the opening so they are flush with one another.

That’s all it takes to create these versatile little storage bowls. They would be great for little bathroom items, jewelry, office supplies and for many more things.
